The Di Giovanna farm, managed by the brothers Gunther and Klaus, is located in the mountains on the slopes of Monte Genuardo, protected nature reserve. The property extends for almost 100 hectares and is made up of 65 hectares of vineyards, 14 of olive groves and 21 of wheat fields and forests.
The five estates of the family are found in the small DOC of Contessa Entellina and Sambuca di Sicilia, in the heart of the Terre Sicane.
The family vineyards are cultivated organic between Sambuca di Sicilia and Contessa Entellina, in the heart of western Sicily.
International and native varieties of vines are grown, the white grape varieties include Chardonnay, Catarratto, Grillo and Viognier. The red ones Nero d'Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Merlot and Syrah. The vines are trained in espalier and pruned with spurred cordon. All to give a finished product of great quality.
