The Antichi Granai agricultural company born from the initiative of the oenologist Gianfranco Mazara, who decided to transform an old farmhouse from the early 20th century, used as a wheat warehouse, on a farm.
The company includes an area of approximately 50 hectares, some of which are cultivated vineyards, immersed in a unique landscape setting, in this land rich in scents, traditions and culture.
The Antichi Granai farmhouse offers wines curated directly by Gianfranco. The wine offered by the company is of two types: the first, coming from the Catarratto IGP vine, is called “A RACINA” in the bottle, a very fresh and harmonious wine with a vein of slightly bitter typicality that Catarratto is endowed with. The second comes from a Nero d'Avola DOC vine called “VARCHETTA” in the bottle, a very strong product with a ruby red color and aromas that confirm its Sicilian character in its DNA. .
