The history of Tavernello begins with Caviro, an agricultural cooperative founded in Faenza in 1966, to enhance the members' grapes, and Corvin, a cooperative company in Romagna which is dedicated to bottling. In 1984 they became one: the new Caviro group. In Italy, it is not allowed to bottle wine in materials other than glass, wood and terracotta, so together with Tetra Pak they experimented with the idea of packaging wine in Brik : this is how Tavernello was born. Their range of products includes red, white, rosé and sparkling wines.
