Two friends passing through the border between Italy and Slovenia stop, won over by the beauty of the place. Initially it was Mount Quarin that dictated the project to the “Due del Monte”.
At first they began by making use of the support of companies in the area then subsequently after a few years and experience matured, they decide to buy some vineyards.
Today they own a total of 8 hectares, divided into 4 large areas. Here the Due del Monte grow 7 different varieties of grapes, both white and black. The most prestigious wines of Due del Monte are single varieties produced with the sole use of wooden barriques, of different passages, so as not to influence too much the gustatory character of the wines, brought as a gift from the company vineyards.
